Originating in Hippocratic tradition and traversing the ages, traditional holistic naturopathy is a science, a philosophy and an art that deals with the laws of nature as applied to health. The knowledge of and the application of these laws allow for the regeneration of the organism by allowing us to optimise its resources. Naturopathy includes all natural methods that can help restore and maintain health.
The naturopathic health practitioner’s aim is to create the conditions that allow the patient’s body to regenerate. When we talk about holistic naturopathy we mean that the practitioner deals with the human as a whole, on all levels of being.
A holistic naturopath will take into account all the different possibilities to better accompany you on the path to well-being and equilibrium.
What exactly is naturopathy ?
“Naturopathy is the fundamental science that encompasses the study, knowledge and teaching of the laws of nature. Based on the principle of the vital energy of the body, it brings together practices of Western tradition based on 10 natural health agents. Its aim is to preserve and optimise the overall health of the individual, quality of life, and to allow the body to self-regenerate by natural means.” (FENAHMAN – French federation of naturopathy)
Why consult a naturopath ?
Consulting a naturopath gives us the opportunity to obtain all the keys to well-being throughout our lives.
Because of the educational role of the naturopath (the docere), we also gain a better understanding of how our bodies function, allowing us to take better charge of our health and well-being (active primary prevention).
Naturopathy may solve many chronic disorders naturally whenever conventional means (allopathy) are not essential (so-called functional disorders).
The vital health programme offered at the end of a naturopathic health check or follow-up is based on individualised advice to accompany the body in its self-regulation of various functional disorders concerning, for example, digestion, sleep, poor circulation, stress, arthritis, weight gain, depression, allergies etc.
Finally, the naturopath ensures that the patient is always supported and provides patients with diagnosed illnesses with the necessary vital forces that work alongside other medical treatments to improve their quality of life.

First consultation
Whatever your need, your state of health or your illness, the laws of nature which direct the functioning of our bodies are universal. That’s why I explain how these work during an introductory session to holistic ayurvedic naturopathy (see activities).
In addition, during this information session, I will also discuss the keys to a healthy lifestyle which supports our physiology and allows it to (re) find its vital balance.
I propose this introductory session as a first contact with naturopathic philosophy and its concrete applications. What’s more, this meeting is a prerequisite for making an appointment for a personal health check. It allows me to communicate to a larger number of people essential general advice to be implemented gradually. This then allows me to offer targeted advice and establish a tailored vital health programme during the first individual consultation.
